Watch our webinar to get the scoop on IMPLAN’s trade data and much more!

IMPLAN’s trade data helps capture the interconnectedness of different regions and industries, allowing for more accurate assessments of economic impacts. Estimates of county-to-county commodity trade flow underlie key aspects of IMPLAN’s economic impact model – including regional purchase coefficients and multi-regional input-output. These data are now available for use in external analysis and applications via IMPLAN’s Data Library.

In this webinar, economist Bjorn Markeson explores IMPLAN’s process for building trade flow data from conceptualization to source data. He also discusses the best way to access these data in IMPLAN Data Library, both in data tables and visualization. Finally, he discusses how clients are currently using trade data and how you can too!<
