IMPLAN is pleased to announce the 2026 IMPLAN Summit! In the first week of June, we’re bringing you opportunities to learn more about IMPLAN, hear what others are doing, and present your work!
June 8th through 10th, we will host an Introduction to IMPLAN Training. This is the same two-and-a-half day training that is usually offered at our HQ. The Introduction to IMPLAN Training is an interactive training course designed for new IMPLAN users or for those in need of a refresher on the fundamentals of economic impact analysis.
The 2026 IMPLAN Summit begins the evening of June 10th with a lively welcome reception including great conversations, new connections, and maybe even a view of Chicago’s famous skyline as the sun sets over Lake Michigan.
Over the next two days, you’ll dive into presentations from both IMPLAN staff and brilliant users like you! If you’ve been working on something cool and want to take the stage, you can submit your proposal through our conference partner, the Mid-Continent Regional Science Association (MCRSA). The program committee welcomes papers and sessions covering a broad range of topics related to applied economics, economic development, planning, geography, business, public administration, sociology, and political science. Both individual paper submissions and organized sessions are encouraged. Just be sure to get your ideas in by March 31, 2026.
The deadline to register is April 30, 2026, so mark your calendar—because you won’t want to miss hanging out in the city of deep-dish pizza, iconic architecture, Millennium Park selfies with The Bean, and maybe even a post‑conference stroll along the Riverwalk. See you in Chicago!
